Volunteer

Be part of a wonderful community of people with hearts

to help their neighbors in need.

Feeding hundreds of families each week takes a lot of hands. Volunteers are needed in each branch of Harvest House.

Food Pantry volunteers may:

  • Create food boxes, bread bags or bundle produce

  • Unload trucks

  • Organize shelves

  • Help out on Saturday mornings: direct traffic, greet visitors, hand out groceries

Community Garden volunteers may:

  • Water gardens, weed beds, sow seeds or plant starts

  • Haul soil, wood chips or garden debris

  • General clean up

  • Build raised beds, mend fences, assemble trellises

  • Give tours to visitors and help them harvest fresh produce

Power Pack volunteers may:

  • Unpack boxes and stock shelves

  • Help assemble packs of food

  • deliver food to schools

We also need help with:

  • Social Media presence, such as taking photographs, making videos and posting to social media sites

  • Administrative tasks, such as making copies, creating documents and data entry
